English Secondary Section celebrated the National Science Day on 28th February, 2025. Honourable Shri Sudhir Desai, Headmaster of VPM’s Vidya Mandir, Dahisar was invited as the Chief Guest to grace the occasion. The event provided the students with a platform to explore scientific concepts, creativity and develop an appreciation for Science. Shri Sudhir Desai delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the role of Science in day to day life and encouraged students to explore the scientific concepts with curiosity and enthusiasm. The beautiful gallery projecting astronaut Sunita Williams, medicinal plants, ayurvedic food corner, scientific toys and various mechanical science experiments were the highlights of the event. Honourable Ms. Neha Kale AHM of English Secondary Section appreciated the Science teachers and the students for their efforts and creativity and making the day memorable and educational.
मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन
मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन सुप्रसिद्ध लेखिका रोहिणी निनावे यांच्या उपस्थितीत विद्या मंदिर इंग्रजी माध्यमिक विभागात मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा झाला.
अवंतिका,अवघाचि हा संसार,माझ्या नवऱ्याची बायको आणि यासारख्या अनेक मालिका लेखन आणि शीर्षक गीत लेखन करणाऱ्या रोहिणी मॅडम यांच्याशी विद्यार्थ्यांनी आणि शिक्षकांनी संवाद साधला,त्यांच्या या क्षेत्राविषयी आणि मराठी भाषेविषयी त्या भरभरून बोलताना म्हणाल्या की जिद्द,लेखन वाचन आणि निरीक्षण या गोष्टी विद्यार्थ्यांनी विकसित केल्या तर मराठी मालिका लेखन क्षेत्रात यश मिळू शकते.
काही विद्यार्थ्यांनी त्यांच्या समोर पोवाडा, गाणी आणि कविता सादर केल्या.

गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांचा कोतुक सोहळा
विद्याप्रसारक मंडळाच्या विदयामंदिर (दहिसर) शाळेच्या गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांचा कोतुक सोहळा शालेय सभागृहात शनिवारी पार पडला. यंदा या शाळेचा निकाल शंभर टक्के लागला आहे. या कार्यक्रमाचे प्रमुख पाहुणे सारस्वत बँकेचे संचालक किरण उमरूटकर होते. याप्रसंगी माध्यमिक शालान्त परीक्षेत ८५ टक्क्यांहून अधिक गुण मिळविणाऱ्या ८२ गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांना गौरविण्यात आले. वेदांत चव्हाण हा इंग्रजी माध्यमातील विद्यार्थी ९९.४० टक्के गुण मिळवून शाळेत पहिला आला, त्याचा सत्कार करण्यात आला. यावेळी सुचिता देशपांडे (शाळा समिती अध्यक्ष इंग्रजी माध्यम), नेहा काळे (उपमुख्याध्यापिका, इंग्रजी माध्यम), अनुया केळुस्कर (कार्यवाह), राजीव जोशी (उपाध्यक्ष), सुधीर देसाई (मुख्याध्यापक), राजेंद्र गोस्वामी (शाळा समिती अध्यक्ष मराठी माध्यमिक विभाग) आदी उपस्थित होते.

Bids are invited for managing and maintaining the hall for providing catering service and interior decoration services for the functions
Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Dahisar, Mumbai 400068, the owners, (hereinafter called as VPMD) has built a well-decorated AC Hall having carpet area of approx. 5000 square feet for school activities and also to generate resources to support educational activities of the mandal. VPMD invites the best bids from reputed conductors, having an experience of minimum 7 years in management of Hall and in catering, to work as Conductor for a period of 36 months for managing and maintaining the aforesaid hall for providing catering service and interior decoration services for the functions to be held in the hall.
A bid document containing detailed terms and conditions can be obtained from the accounts office of VPMD, Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg, Dahisar (East) by paying (non-refundable cost of) Rs. 10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) towards the bid document on all working day during 11:00 am to 04:00 pm (Mon-Fri) and during 11.00 am to 1.00 pm (Sat), between 21/11/2022 and 28/11/2022 (both days inclusive).
