ENGLISH SECONDARY SECTION
On the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, V.P.M.’s Vidya Mandir, Dahisar, celebrated the festival with great devotion and enthusiasm. Students of the Secondary Section from both the English and Marathi Mediums participated in a vibrant Dindi Procession, carrying the sacred Palkhi from Vitthal Mandir, Dahisar West to Kashimath Vitthal Rakhumai Mandir, Dahisar East.
The procession was led by Secretary Mr. Rahul Kelkar, School Committee Member Mr. Abhijeet Varadkar, Principal Mr. Sudhir Desai, AHM Mrs. Neha Kale, along with the other dignitaries, English and Marathi medium teaching and non-teaching staff.
The Std. IX S/G students enthusiastically volunteered throughout the event. Students performed energetic Lezim, sang soulful abhangs and devotional songs and displayed creative banners carrying meaningful social messages, beautifully reflecting the values of the Varkari tradition
