18th July 2025 of Std IX English Secondary Section
An educational trip was organised for the students of std IX of VPM’s Vidya Mandir English Secondary Section on 18th July, 2025 at Navneet Publication Factory located at Virar.
The purpose of the trip was to provide students with firsthand exposure to the functioning of a large-scale publication house. During the visit, students observed the detailed processes involved in book and diary binding, as well as cover attachment. They got an opportunity to have a close look at the production stages of various paper and stationery products many of which are exported globally.
Knowledgeable guides at the factory explained each step of the manufacturing process in an engaging and informative manner. This visit exposed them towards understanding industrial operations, thus making them learn something beyond their academics.
As a thoughtful gesture, each student was gifted a sample copy of one of the factory’s newly developed creations.
It was truly an enriching and memorable experience for all.
